"Within
the universe is space, within the universe is time. These monsters are
placed at strategic places (at the entrances of black holes), near the
time of cosmic explosions and by every alarm clock in our dear world. From
these positions they negotiate centuries and millenniums and hours and
seconds and days and weeks and months. They are very busy and use computer
disks instead of paper."
